We are currently seeking an experienced and inspiring Health Operations Manager to provide leadership across our community and residential health services. This is a senior leadership role responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, customer-focused health services, while driving innovation, service growth and operational excellence. About the Role A strong ambition and clear vision to grow our health services and improve outcomes for older Australians has led to the development of this new role. Reporting to the Executive Manager, Home Care & Retirement Living, the Operations Manager – Health will lead the operational management and strategic development of ACH Group’s allied health services. You will oversee multidisciplinary allied teams and administrative support services, ensuring our current programs meet regulatory requirements, accreditation standards and organisational goals. This role will also focus on developing new, innovative, market-leading services that attract both customers and workforce talent, while strengthening ACH Group’s reputation as a leader in aged care and community health services. You will manage multiple direct reports and play a key role within the senior service delivery leadership team. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Contribute to the strategic and financial performance of Home Care and Community Services. Support organisational strategy and collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team to achieve key outcomes. Operational Management Lead the operational delivery of community and residential allied health services. Manage performance against KPIs, contractual obligations, accreditation standards and business targets. Provide clinical leadership and ensure effective risk management across services. Customer Experience Foster a customer-centred culture where dignity, respect and choice are embedded in service delivery. Ensure services enhance customer independence, wellbeing and quality of life. Continuous Improvement Drive a culture of quality improvement and innovation. Regularly review programs to ensure relevance, effectiveness and commercial viability. Business Development & Commercial Performance Develop business plans and annual budgets aligned with performance targets. Identify new opportunities for government-funded and private health services. Lead projects to grow ACH Group’s health service portfolio. Quality & Compliance Ensure services comply with Aged Care Quality Standards and relevant program requirements. Support accreditation and regulatory assessment processes. Lead incident management, root cause analysis and risk management processes. Leadership & Workforce Development Lead, mentor and develop clinical and administrative teams. Support workforce planning, recruitment and succession planning. Foster a culture of safety, learning and evidence-based practice. Stakeholder Engagement Build strong relationships with internal teams, external partners and regulatory bodies. Represent ACH Group in networks and partnerships to strengthen service delivery. About You You are an experienced health services leader who combines strong clinical knowledge with commercial awareness and strategic thinking. You are passionate about improving outcomes for older people, leading high performing teams and thrive in complex operational environments. Essential Qualifications Tertiary qualification in Nursing (Registered Nurse) or Allied Health Current National Police Clearance Current Australian Driver’s Licence Up-to-date vaccinations as required by Australian Government directions Essential Experience Demonstrated experience (5years) leading clinical or multidisciplinary health teams Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience in developing new services Knowledge of aged care and community health funding models Strong organisational, problem-solving and decision-making skills Understanding of ageing-related issues including dementia care Customer-focused approach with excellent interpersonal skills Experience delivering evidence-based, outcomes-focused services Desirable Postgraduate qualification in Health Services Management, Leadership or Administration Experience within Aged Care, Private or Not-for-Profit organisations Applications If you are an experienced Health Operations Manager ready to influence strategy, innovate, drive performance and lead large-scale service delivery operations — we would love to hear from you.
