About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and reliable Facilities – Grounds Person to join our Facilities team on a full time, permanent basis. Reporting to the Director of Facilities, this role plays a key part in ensuring the College’s grounds, gardens, indoor and outdoor spaces are maintained to a high standard and presented in a safe, clean and welcoming condition. The position involves daily collaboration with Facilities’ team members and contributes to the smooth operation of College activities and events. The role typically works 7.00am – 4.00pm, Monday to Friday, with access to rostered days off, 4 weeks annual leave per year, and College granted shut down leave during the College closure period between Christmas and New Year. To be successful in this opportunity you will require: A current Victorian Drivers Licence Relevant certificate in horticulture, landscaping or similar Experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, gardening, facilities or similar work (preferred) Strong understanding of workplace health and safety (OHS) requirements Well developed interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team Strong time management and the ability to prioritise daily tasks A commitment to professionalism, accountability and initiative A current Victorian Working with Children Check To apply, or to view the position description, visit https://www.stleonards.vic.edu.au/careers/job-listings/ and become part of a supportive and collegial Facilities team.
