About The Role PolyNovo is currently searching for an Inventory Associate to join the Supply Chain team. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager , the Inventory Associate will be responsible in supporting the efficient flow of materials across the facility by working collaboratively with the Inventory Controller to receipt stock and manage inventory movements. The position works closely with Quality Control to ensure accurate stock handling, partners with Production to organise raw materials and consumables in line with manufacturing requirements and liaises with logistics partners to ensure orders are collected in a timely manner. Key Responsibilities Assist the Inventory Controller in the receiving of warehouse deliveries. Loading and unloading of freight trucks with a walkie stacker/forklift. Review receiving and shipping documents for accuracy. Maintain delivery log of all products and supplies received. Assist QC in labelling incoming goods as defined by the PNV Quality Management System, when required. Undertake ERP inventory transactions including purchase order receipts and inventory adjustments, where required. File all delivery and inventory receipts. Assist the Inventory Controller in analysing inventory data to optimise stocking levels and reduce carrying costs. Identify slow-moving or obsolete items and recommend appropriate actions. Assist the Inventory Controller in implementing inventory control measures to prevent under and overstock situations. Perform stock transfers between warehouses, QC and Production, where required. Ensuring all materials are staged and available for Production. Support Production in the secondary packaging of product, as required. Ensure that the warehouse meets PNV good housekeeping practice. Remove/segregate any defective or expired items for disposal or destruction, as instructed by Supply Chain team/Production/QA/QC. Pack items for return to the supplier as instructed by the Planner/ Supply Chain Manager. Perform monthly stocktakes to verify physical inventory against ERP records. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies as identified via daily operations or cycle count or stock take processes. Ensure inventory accuracy KPIs are met. Assist in the movement of products from the warehouse for sterilisation or distribution to 3PL/distributors. Assist the Supply Chain team with various other administrative tasks as required. Qualifications & Experience Diploma in a business, logistics, technical discipline or equivalent. 1-2 years’ experience in inventory management and warehouse operations. Experience in stocktake (advantageous). MYOB experience (advantageous). Excellent math and analytical skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and excellent inter-personal skills. Demonstrates strong organizational and time-management skills. Physically fit and possess a valid forklift license. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in a small team environment. Excellent computer skills, incl Microsoft Office Suite and preferably with ERP experience. Solution minded; collaborative team player who is motivated to make things happen. Why PolyNovo?
