Description: About the Role Reporting to the Branch Manager, the LPG Filling / Test and Update Operator plays a critical role in ensuring LPG cylinders are filled, tested and maintained to Best Practice standards. This position is responsible for operating the test station and swap filling line in a safe, compliant and efficient manner, ensuring all site procedures, safety policies and regulatory standards are strictly followed. You will help ensure every cylinder, from testing and maintenance to final filling, meets the highest levels of operational integrity and compliance. This is a full-time position suited to a reliable, safety-focused team player with mechanical aptitude and a strong work ethic. Duties & Responsibilities: Safely fill LPG cylinders to Best Practice standards, ensuring full compliance with site procedures and safety policies. Operate test station and swap filling line equipment including valving machines, spray booth, engraver, recovery systems and filling scales. Conduct cylinder testing, inspection and update processes in accordance with relevant Australian Standards and SOPs. Complete daily compliance checklists and accurately record all filling and testing activities in company systems. Perform routine start-up, shutdown and basic maintenance checks on filling and test equipment. Maintain high housekeeping standards across all filling and test & update areas. Participate in safety initiatives including risk assessments, hazard reporting, ERP activities and critical risk controls. Work collaboratively with the Branch Manager and operations team to ensure adequate cylinder availability to meet customer demand.
