The Role In this role, you will support the People & Culture team with recruitment and administrative tasks while contributing to a positive employee experience. As the first point of contact for candidates and employees, you’ll help shape their journey from the moment they apply through to becoming part of the Canterbury team. Key Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end recruitment, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and compliance checks. Support the onboarding process for new employees and prepare employment documentation Maintain employee records and update HR systems (HRIS). Assist with payroll administration for new hires and terminations. Coordinate training and maintain training registers. Provide general administrative support. About You You are an organised and detail-oriented administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting the recruitment lifecycle. A minimum of 1-2 years of proven experience in a similar administrative role. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Excellent communication skills and a professional, approachable manner. High attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information.
