About the Role You’ll work 3 days per week across rotating shifts, 7 days a week: Day: 07:25–20:05 Mid: 10:25–23:05 Night: 19:25–08:05 Approx. 2 weekends every 4 weeks You’ll handle inbound calls and emails, complete initial triage, gather essential details, and escalate cases to clinical teams when required. What You’ll Do Respond to inbound medical assistance calls and emails with empathy and professionalism Gather key information (location, condition, policy details) to open cases Complete initial risk assessment and escalate urgent matters Clearly communicate next steps and set expectations Stay calm during high‑stress or emergency situations Accurately log all case details and follow privacy protocols Work closely with clinical teams and case coordinators Support customers in line with the “you live, we care” ethos What You Bring 1–2 years’ experience in a call centre or customer service role Strong communication skills and ability to multi‑task Confident using IT systems and completing accurate data entry Knowledge of medical terminology or travel/health insurance (highly regarded) Ability to work rotating shifts, including some weekends Police Check required Why You’ll Love It Meaningful work supporting travellers in real moments of need Hybrid working in South Brisbane Competitive shift‑based pay ranging from $36 to $64 per hour .
