COMPANY Our client is a respected national electrical contracting group delivering major projects across Defence, heavy industrial, power generation and high‑voltage infrastructure. With continued growth across SA, they now require an experienced High Voltage E&I Commissioning Technician to join their team. POSITION This role will see you responsible for the testing, commissioning and energisation of high‑voltage assets across Defence and large‑scale industrial sites. You will work across substations, transformers, switch gear and protection systems, while ensuring all works are carried out safely and in accordance with statutory requirements. Key responsibilities include: HV primary & secondary system testing Testing & commissioning of substations, transformers, switch gear & protection systems Transformer testing (Tan Delta, SFRA, TTR, Dirana, Winding Resistance, Oil Sampling etc.) HV cable terminations, testing & installation Building HV Switching Programs and performing HV switching operations up to 11kV Fault‑finding & troubleshooting of HV systems Completion of LOTO, JSEAs, risk assessments and Defence compliance documentation Benefits This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow within a reputable company that values safety, quality, and customer service.
