This is a rare opportunity for a recent graduate or early‑career professional who is passionate about the built environment and eager to build a long‑term career in development. The role is intentionally suited to someone who is curious, motivated, and ready to learn the full lifecycle of retail and commercial development projects from the ground up. You will work closely with the Senior Acquisitions Manager and broader development team, gaining exposure to acquisitions, feasibility research, planning pathways, stakeholder engagement and project delivery support. Duties Assist in early‑stage site research, planning checks and market analysis Prepare basic feasibility inputs, data summaries and project documentation Support the team in identifying potential acquisition opportunities Contribute to internal reports, briefs, research papers and due diligence tasks Liaise with agents, councils, consultants and internal stakeholders as required Maintain databases, mapping tools and project records Attend meetings, site visits and planning-related discussions Support tenant, leasing and commercial documentation preparation as needed Skills and Experience We are seeking a motivated graduate who brings: Essential A tertiary qualification in Property, Property Development, Urban & Regional Planning, Construction/Project Management, Finance, or a related discipline Strong research capability and ability to analyse information logically Genuine interest in property development and commercial asset classes Strong written communication and report‑writing skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel A desire to learn, take direction and grow within the business Current driver’s licence (for site visits) Nice to Have (not essential) Basic familiarity with planning systems (e.g. PlanSA) Exposure to feasibility modelling or site assessment Experience using mapping/GIS tools or property databases How to Apply Please contact James Amos on 0434 677 266 or jamos@goughrecruitment.com.au or hit APPLY NOW.
