As one of Melbourne’s busiest tertiary trauma centres, our Perioperative Services team delivers care across a wide range of complex surgical procedures and specialties. The Perioperative Services Department includes 16 theatres, 25 recovery bays, 3 off-floor anaesthetic areas, 3 West Day Procedure Unit, 3 East/23-hour Unit, and Central Sterilising Services (CSSD).
