Once you get a clear picture of the business, the leadership, the strategy and the momentum, you’ll be thinking exactly one thing…. “Where do I sign?!” This is a newly created Finance Manager position in a high-growth consumer goods business operating across both B2B and B2C channels. The business is scaling quickly, backed by excellent leadership with a proven track record, and they’re investing in the finance function to keep pace with growth (without losing what makes the culture great). They need someone to sit between the CFO and the wider team. A practical, commercially minded finance leader who can keep the day-to-day humming, lift capability, and help the business make smarter decisions as it grows. Plenty of breadth, plenty of visibility, and genuine runway to grow your career and your team. Role Profile This role is equal parts “engine room” and “commercial partner”: Lead the day-to-day finance function and be the key point of coordination for the team Own month-end delivery: close, reporting, reconciliations, and ensuring accuracy and discipline Maintain strong financial controls, clean processes, and a culture of accountability (without becoming the fun police) Partner closely with the CFO to translate numbers into actions the business can actually use Support the operational heartbeat of the business, particularly in areas like inventory, margin, and working capital Drive continuous improvement across reporting, process, and systems as the business scales Be hands-on with finance systems and data flows, helping ensure NetSuite is scalable for growth and fit-for-purpose Develop and mentor a growing team while protecting a positive, high-performance culture Successful Candidate Profile A hands-on Finance Manager (or step-up Senior Accountant / Finance Lead with supervisory experience) who enjoys leading day-to-day delivery and improving the way things work Commercially switched on. You understand what drives revenue, margin, inventory outcomes, and cash in a retail environment Experienced in consumer goods environments across B2B and/or B2C (high-growth is a big tick) Comfortable in the operational detail: inventory, stock movements, COGS, landed costs, and the realities of a fast-moving retail-style environment Systems/tech capable. You don’t need to be a “systems accountant”, but you do need to enjoy getting into the detail and making systems work properly A strong people leader (or ready to become one). You can support, direct, and lift a team while keeping things collaborative and human Calm, practical, and solutions-focused.
