The manufacturing facility, located in Shepperton, Victoria, has capability to design, engineer, manufacture and deliver our range of products, both locally and abroad. MATelec Australia is currently looking for hardworking and dedicated Electronics Engineer to join their team. Duties and Responsibilities Oversee the process from the receipt of Client Purchase Orders to Production readiness, including the preparation and validation of project files. Analyse and prepare material costs, time estimates and design specifications for control panels and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in electronic engineering Conduct electronic/electrical testing of control panels, ensuring functionality with specification, and compliance with AS/NZS3000:2018, and any other relevant standards. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and rectify electronic/electrical faults, and where necessary, provide feedback or training to the Wiring Technicians. Communicate effectively with clients regarding function, drawing approvals, variations, lead times, installation requirements, and product testing reports. Coordinate with suppliers on component specifications, alternative product/component research, pricing, and availability. Work closely with the Pre-Production Team on project file preparation, controller setup, drawings, programming, and addressing variations. Ensure high-quality project documentation, facilitating error-free production and enhancing client satisfaction.
