Disability Support Worker (DDSO1/1Q) – Colac We have an exciting casual opportunities across our Colac sites for dedicated Support Workers looking to support our amazing clients. The role includes: Provide warm, respectful, person-centred support that promotes dignity, independence, and privacy. Consistently implement Behaviour Support Plans, routines, safety procedures, and accurate documentation. Promote independence through calm, structured, and predictable support. Confidently manage personal care, health needs, and behaviours of concern using effective de-escalation strategies. Work autonomously with sound judgement, making safe decisions without immediate on-site backup while using escalation pathways appropriately. Demonstrate reliability, patience, strong communication, and consistent, composed decision-making. What you'll need: Certificate IV in Disability ( or equivalence ) is highly desirable Flexibility to work varied shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and overnight (active/sleepover). NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working with Children Check. Current Level 2 First Aid & CPR Certificate.
