About The Role The Senior Adviser is responsible for managing and monitoring a Public Private Partnership (PPP) project agreement for 2 PPP Schools (PPP2) with the PPP Contract Administration Team to ensure the State and private sector meet financial and performance obligations and that the State receives value for money. The position provides high level strategic advice to ensure contractual conditions and obligations outlined in the project agreement, and relevant policies and procedures of the department and SA Government are met. The position leads the development and implementation of procedures and systems to support PPP school leadership, facility managers and private sector representatives to accurately interpret and achieve contractual obligations. The position applies contract, operational, and risk management principles and strategies in a highly complex, dynamic and sensitive operating environment and ensures that the necessary document management, reporting and escalation procedures are in place to support the State Representative. Reporting to the Deputy Chief Procurement Officer, the PPP Contract Administration Team comprises of two Senior Advisers and two Advisers to support 8 PPP schools. Qualifications Essential: Nil Desirable: Tertiary or post-secondary qualifications in an appropriate discipline, ie Project Management, Asset Management, Contract Management for Public, Private, Partnerships (University of Melbourne) or equivalent. Special conditions The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years. For all other Special Conditions please refer to the attached Position Description. Remuneration ASO7 $108,109 - 116,864 per annum (1.0 FTE) superannuation (12%) and leave loading.
