Collaborative and Service Delivery focused teams Supportive leadership Remuneration: Non-Award Position PBI salary packaging Flexible work options Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this role coordinates and maintains internal staff training within the Learning and Development function of the HR team. As the Learning and Development Coordinator, you will support the maintenance of internal training, and coordinate ad hoc external training where required. Working closely with the HR Business Partners, service delivery teams, and key stakeholders, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of Service Delivery Training Plans, ensuring they remain relevant and compliant. In addition, the role will coordinate training schedules, liaise with external providers, and facilitate external training where required for service delivery. The position will also play a key part in training reporting, ensuring training activities meet organisational, regulatory, and compliance requirements, including reporting and audit obligations. Key responsibilities include: Learning & Development Coordination Collaborate with the Human Resources Team and Executive Managers to deliver meaningful learning outcomes for our staff. Lead training needs analysis across service delivery units and maintain Service Delivery Training Plans. Review and maintain the Workforce Training and Development Policy and Training needs guide Source and verify external training providers to meet identified organisational needs. Plan and schedule facetoface mandatory training, including facilitating the Agency Induction. Develop and maintain annual training schedules and internal training calendars. Oversee the administration of compulsory training programs in partnership with HR and administrative teams. Provide regular training reports, document processes, identify efficiencies, and support the transition to a centralised training function. Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance training delivery and coordination. Systems, Records & Reporting Responsible for the maintenance of the Learning Management System (LMS) Use the Learning Management System (LMS) to coordinate training administration and maintain accurate records. Provide reporting to leaders on completions, compliance status and participation metrics from the LMS Ensure training modules and SCORM packages are current, accessible, and updated as required. Monitor training package expiry dates and user licences. To excel in this role, you will bring: Tertiary Qualifications relevant to Learning and Development, Training and Assessment, or Human Resources. Demonstrated ability to build and address training needs and skill gaps Intermediate to advance computer literacy. Process improvement mindset. Organisation and solution focused. Proven ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders in a consultative, client centred and solution focused manner. Demonstrated ability to think creatively and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in training technology, including Learning Management Systems (LMS), e-learning platforms, and virtual training tools. Current DHS Working with Children Check Experience working in for-purpose environment is ideal but not essential. Desirable: Qualifications in Training and Assessment, workplace training or instructional design. See attached position description for full details.
