Registered Nurse – Home Aged Care (South West-Sydney) Healthcare Australia (HCA), is on the lookout for a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Homecare team on a casual basis, with a potential for part-time permanent role (15 hours per week). Role Overview: This is a community-based role supporting our elderly customers in their own homes across South West Sydney. You will be required to travel between clients, ensuring that their care needs are met with compassion and professionalism. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing holistic care and supporting clients in their homes. Your duties will include: Delivering clinical and personal care that meets each client’s unique needs. Developing tailored care plans using your expert clinical judgment and compassion. Providing wound care, and supporting clients with medical equipment such as catheters and continence aids. Offering social and emotional support, helping clients feel safe, comfortable, and connected. What We Are Looking For: A qualified Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and at least 2 years of experience. Experience in Aged Care or Community Home Care is desirable. Current First Aid (HLTAID003/4) and CPR (HLTAID001) certifications, or willingness to complete within one month of starting. Proof of the right to work in Australia. A current driver’s license, access to a reliable car with comprehensive insurance, and willingness to travel between appointments (paid travel). National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain one. A genuine passion for providing care to older Australians and a commitment to helping them live independently at home. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Up-to-date COVID vaccinations and Flu vaccine (or willingness to obtain).
