Operating at an Assistant Director level , you will work closely with senior leaders to analyse financial performance, develop budget models, and provide high‑quality insights that support organisational decision‑making. Key Responsibilities Budget Analysis & Forecasting Analyse historical financial data and performance trends Compare actuals against previous budgets Identify cost drivers and assess financial impacts Develop accurate forecasts based on agreed assumptions Build and maintain budget development models/tools Stakeholder Support & Advisory Partner with senior executives and business units on financial matters Consolidate and interpret financial data across multiple cost centres Prepare financial insights for strategic and operational decision‑making Provide guidance on financial management, resource allocation, and controls Process Improvement Contribute to the improvement of financial processes, policies, and reporting Support continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function Skills & Experience Essential Full working rights in Australia Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Strong financial modelling experience Ability to interpret complex financial information and communicate clearly Experience in government or large organisations (highly desirable) Familiarity with Oracle Financials How to Apply Please submit your CV, and we will be in touch with shortlisted candidates.
