THE ROLE: This is a great opportunity for a relationship-focused, office-based Account Manager to take ownership of a diverse portfolio of SME customers. You’ll be working from our Melbourne CBD office and liaise closely with direct SME clients, brokers, and business partners to build strong relationships, drive retention, and identify growth opportunities across your portfolio. With a mix of hands-on business owners and more commercially driven customers, this role suits someone who enjoys balancing relationship management with sales outcomes Some of your key responsibilities in this role will include (but not limited to): Maintain and grow SME customer relationships through regular proactive phone and email contact. Build and manage relationships with existing brokers and partners that introduce new customers to Fleet Partners through regular contact strategy Share customer, competitor, and product insights with Sales and Marketing to help improve our offerings. Keep customer data and communications up to date in Salesforce and other operating systems. ABOUT YOU: You’re a results-driven account manager or sales professional who thrives on building strong relationships and growing customer portfolios. You have a consultative approach, enjoy solving problems, and know how to balance customer needs with business outcomes. You’re comfortable managing a pipeline, influencing stakeholders, and delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. To be successful in this role you will have: 2 years experience in consultive or solutions-based B2B account management or inside sales, preferably in fleet management, automotive, leasing, finance or brokerage Demonstrated ability to identify new business opportunities and sell on value not price. Background of exceeding sales targets and retaining and growing portfolio’s with superior customer service Demonstrated ability to influence and build relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders Experience managing a sales pipeline using CRM Salesforce or equivalent THE PERKS: We offer more than just a role: 27 days of annual leave per year.
