About the Role We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electronic Instrument Trades Worker to join our growing technical service team. The role involves installation, calibration, fault diagnosis, repair and maintenance of electronic control and instrumentation systems within commercial warewashing equipment. Key Duties & Responsibilities Install, commission and configure electronic instrumentation and control systems in commercial dishwashing and warewashing equipment. Diagnose faults in electronic control circuits, PLC systems, sensors, temperature probes, dosing systems and programmable controllers. Test, calibrate and adjust instruments to ensure accurate performance and compliance with manufacturer specifications. Interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics to carry out repairs and modifications. Repair or replace defective electronic components including circuit boards, relays, switches and control modules. Conduct preventative maintenance and performance testing on installed equipment. Ensure systems comply with Australian electrical and safety standards. Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting at customer premises. Prepare service reports and maintain accurate documentation of works completed. Liaise with customers regarding system performance, maintenance requirements and operational advice. Follow WHS procedures and safe work practices at all times. Skills & Experience Required Relevant trade qualification in Electronics, Instrumentation or related field (AQF Certificate III or equivalent). At least 2-3 years' proven experience working with electronic instrumentation and control systems. Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills. Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics. Current driver's licence. Strong communication and customer service skills.
