The Role As the Neighbourhood Development Officer, you will work across all seven City of Salisbury Community Centres / Hubs supporting a diverse, experienced team of Community Development Coordinators to assist in the delivery of a range of innovative and sustainable neighbourhood development initiatives both within the community centres/Hubs and within neighbourhoods responding to the opportunities, strengths and needs identified by residents and city users. As a grant funded, contracted position, this role is also responsible for the delivery and reporting of the DHS funded project "Community and Neighbourhood Development (CND) Neighbourhood Connections Program" for the City of Salisbury. This position within the Neighbourhood Development team will also play an important role supporting Community Development Coordinators to oversee day-to-day operations of the City of Salisbury Community Centres and Hubs to ensure that effective use is made of the neighbourhood facilities. The position requires out of hours work, the ability to work independently as well as within a team and across multiple locations.
