Connect People are seeking skilled and dedicated Industrial Electricians for our client's Somerton location. Join a state-of-the-art Plastic Recycling facility where you’ll play a key role in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. This includes hands-on work installing and commissioning new industrial machinery—such as running cables, installing cable trays, and connecting electrical wiring for new plant equipment. Innovative and sustainable environment. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and control equipment across the manufacturing plant. Diagnose faults and respond to breakdowns to minimise production downtime. Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure reliability and safety of plant equipment. Assist with the installation and commissioning of new machinery and electrical infrastructure. What You Will Bring to the Team Qualified Australian Electrician with a valid electrician’s license. Minimum of 2 years of experience as an industrial electrician, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Experience installing and commissioning industrial equipment, including running cables, installing cable trays, and connecting electrical wiring for new plant machinery Technical support and reporting skills, including maintaining transformers and switch gear, and performing various HSE-related inspections.
