Transport and Rail Newcastle, Australia Weighbridge Operator $37.08 per hour casual rate, potential to transition to perm after 3 months Part time – Wednesday to Friday 8.00am-5.30pm Newcastle location Immediate start We are seeking an experienced Weighbridge Administrator to join our team at our Newcastle Recycling Facility to assist with the day to day operations of a large Waste Management business. The successful candidate must be available to work between 8.00am-5.30pm Wednesday to Friday, with occasional overtime as required. Will need to also be available on Saturdays as required during training period. Responsibilities will include: Weighing trucks in and out of site and producing customer dockets; Providing excellent customer service via both phone and face to face; Processing payments, including EFTPOS transactions, account transactions, cash payments and cash reconciliation; Monthly account reconciliation; and Completion of on boarding and inductions. Skills and experience will include: Prior experience working in a customer focused role; General administrative skills such as data entry; Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; A friendly, customer focused attitude; Previous experience with cash handling; Intermediate computer skills, particularly MS Office products such as excel.
