About the Role An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Payroll Officer to join our client’s Finance team in a permanent part‑time capacity (3 days per week). Reporting into a supportive leadership group, you’ll play an integral role in ensuring the accurate and efficient delivery of the monthly payroll function across multiple entities. The position involves a blend of processing, compliance, reporting and improvement-focused work, offering strong exposure across the broader Finance and HR teams. Key Responsibilities End‑to‑end autonomous monthly payroll (200 - 250 employees) processing across multiple business entities Ensuring compliance with relevant awards, legislation and internal payroll policies Managing PAYG, payroll tax, superannuation and WorkCover calculations, payments and reconciliations Processing new starters, terminations, employment variations, leave, bonuses and salary adjustments Maintaining and administering the payroll system with a strong focus on data integrity Preparing month‑end payroll reporting and supporting payroll-related finance deliverables Managing leave entitlements and completing monthly reconciliations Identifying and implementing process improvements and contributing to finance projects Assisting HR with payroll reporting requirements as needed About You You are a detail‑focused and proactive payroll professional who enjoys working collaboratively and delivering high‑quality outcomes.
