Job description Job Title Mechanical Fitter Supervision Required Limited Responsibilities Perform basic welding tasks (MIG, ARC, TIG) and machining work using lathes and mills. Conduct bearing replacements, shaft replacements, motor replacements, and machine alignments. Disassemble and rebuild basic machinery as required. Participate in the on call roster to support breakdowns and urgent maintenance needs. Travel to various sites (e.g., Oceania, Colac, Cootamundra, Swan Hill) to perform mechanical maintenance and repairs. Required Skills and Experience Minimum 10 years of experience as a Mechanical Fitter or in a similar field. Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics, along with strong problem solving skills.
