Description THE ROLE Our AV team partners with clients from initial creative concept through to event delivery and post-event debrief, delivering exceptional event experiences of all sizes and complexities while bringing innovative technical solutions to life. In this role, you will be responsible for the following key areas: Set up and operate audio, vision and lighting equipment across a range of event environments Plan and coordinate event delivery, including bump in, operation and bump out Lead and support a team of technicians, providing clear direction and technical guidance Manage client expectations and act as the key contact for all AV requirements during events Build and maintain strong working relationships with team members, suppliers and clients Oversee the day-to-day operational requirements of the AV department Maximise utilisation and care of the venue’s AV inventory and equipment Remain current with industry trends, emerging technologies and new audio visual products ABOUT YOU To be successful in this role, you will bring strong technical capability, proven event delivery experience and a collaborative leadership approach. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following: Minimum four years’ experience in the AV industry, ideally within a large entertainment or event venue Demonstrated experience in the design and delivery of large scale events Strong technical knowledge across audio, lighting and vision production systems Proven ability to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions under pressure Flexible and available to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights and weekends Professional presentation suited to a corporate event environment Genuine passion for mentoring and leading less experienced technicians Full Australian working rights are required for this position in addition to a probity check.
