Golding is recruiting an experienced SHET Advisor to drive Safety culture, build capability and ensure strong compliance at Curragh Mine, Blackwater, DIDO from surrounding area. Why this role? This newly created role offers an 8/6 roster in a hands-on open-cut mining environment, working as part of a growing team. You’ll have a genuine opportunity to shape and enhance training systems, drive meaningful improvements, and leave a lasting impact through your training leadership. What you’ll do: Lead and coordinate site training, inductions and competency management Deliver training and coaching to lift capability across crews and trainer/assessors Ensure contractors and personnel meet all compliance requirements Maintain training systems, records, Skills Matrix and site Training Management Plans Support audits, investigations and SHET meetings with expert advice and reporting Conduct field observations, provide visible safety leadership and contribute to continuous improvement Collaborate with department leaders to schedule, deliver and improve training. What you’ll bring: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment – required Ideally you will have hands-on experience operating mining equipment, essential to effectively train and coach personnel High level of organisation and attention to detail Strong background in safety, training and compliance within the mining industry Confidence delivering training, mentoring assessors and managing induction programs Solid understanding of SHET systems, audits and competency-based training Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills If you’re passionate about building safe, skilled teams and enjoy a varied role with real impact, we’d love to hear from you.
