They are committed to strengthening their team and are introducing a new Trade Resource Manager role to provide dedicated people leadership, workforce planning, and performance oversight across their trade workforce. This role sits between their Supervisors and the Operations Manager, ensuring our teams are supported, connected, and set up for long‑term success. You’ll manage over 50 staff across carpentry, painting, plumbing, roof plumbing, and electrical. While you won’t be involved in day‑to‑day job execution, you’ll play a critical role in managing resource availability, performance, development pathways, and team culture. You’ll work closely with Supervisors who provide technical oversight, and you’ll be supported by a dedicated in‑house HR Advisor for legislative guidance. Key Responsibilities Lead and support a large, multi‑discipline trade workforce. Manage resource planning, recruitment, onboarding, and workforce forecasting. Drive performance management, coaching, development pathways, and succession planning. Oversee disciplinary matters, conduct expectations, and attendance. Support apprenticeship management and mentoring. Partner with Supervisors to ensure quality, consistency, and team cohesion. Monitor key workforce metrics including retention, satisfaction, and productivity. Provide insights and reporting to the Operations Manager. About You Strong people‑leadership experience with large or diverse teams. Confident managing performance, behaviour, and development conversations. Trade background preferred but not essential. Skilled in workforce planning or operational HR. Able to build trust quickly across different trade groups. Calm, solutions‑focused, and proactive in resolving issues. People leadership is key.
