Are you CA/CPA qualified with Financial Services Audit experience? Leading bank seeks Line 1 Risk Manager for their Finance division. The Financial Risk and Reporting team works closely with internal customers (Business Partnering teams) and other stakeholders (e.g. Group Finance, Line 2 Risk) to deliver best practice and expertise pertaining to financial reporting and risk/control management. In any given week you will be responsible for; The design and implementation / support to the business to design and implement controls and develop process maps to enable better risk and compliance outcomes Ensuring risks are profiled and captured in the Risk Profile and updated when risk trigger events occur Managing root cause analysis of issues and incidents, identifying and implementing control improvements The effective design of controls for all new and changing processes and operations, and supporting the business through the implementation Data quality in; maintain various databases (including RiskInSite) and monthly management reporting Conducting and managing the Control Assurance Program (CAP) testing, including the development of test scripts, and report on assurance findings Preparing information to support the strategic planning process and conduct analysis, tracking and reporting on the Risk Appetite Statement (RAS) We're interested in hearing from people who have: 4 - 6 years in Operational Risk / Big 4 Audit within Banking / Financial Services Controls design experience Knowledge of Operational and Compliance Risk frameworks The ability to analyse/identify risks and opportunities and recommend appropriate actions Influencing and consulting skills, the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels The ability to think critically and analytically and use data driven insights to solve problems People leadership skills, including coaching and guiding others CA / CPA qualification Fluent English skills Full Australian working rights
