Centre Director | Community-Based Early Learning Centre Wirragula, NSW Full-Time Position A wonderful opportunity is available for an experienced Centre Director to lead a small, community-based Early Learning Centre. This role would suit a passionate early childhood leader who enjoys working within a close-knit community setting, building strong relationships with families, and leading a dedicated team to deliver high-quality education and care. About the Role As the Centre Director, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and operations of the centre. You will lead a team of educators, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and foster a positive culture that supports both children’s learning and educator development. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and support a team of passionate educators Manage the daily operations of the centre including staffing and administration Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Education and Care Services National Regulations Drive high-quality programming aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) Build strong relationships with families and the local community Maintain a safe, welcoming, and engaging learning environment Lead quality improvement processes and maintain documentation About You Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education and Care Previous leadership experience as a Centre Director, Assistant Director, or Educational Leader Strong understanding of the NQF, EYLF, and Child Safe practices Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills Ability to build strong relationships with families and educators Current Working With Children Check Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification What’s on Offer Leadership role within a supportive community-focused service Smaller centre environment allowing for meaningful relationships with families Opportunity to shape and lead a high-quality early learning program Supportive management and professional development opportunities Competitive salary package up $110,000 super based on qualification and experience If you are a passionate and experienced early childhood leader looking to make a difference within a community-based service, we would love to hear from you.
