About Water Operations Water Operations forms part of the Water and Waste Services Group (WWSG), which also includes Water Infrastructure Services, Water Project Services and Waste Services. Water Operations is responsible for the operation of Council’s water and wastewater pumping, treatment, and distribution systems to ensure customer service standards and legislative compliance obligations are met. The team encompasses personnel from various areas of engineering, operations and compliance. About the position The Groundsperson performs building and grounds maintenance of water production treatment and distribution facilities and provides assistance to the water supply officers where required. This position will work under general supervision. The base wage rate for this position is $1,232.68 gross per week, plus 17.5% annual leave loading and up to 12.65% superannuation.
