Description In this role you will provide support to the young people residing in boarding, ensuring exceptional standards of care, safety, and academic assistance are upheld. Our spacious and modern residence for international boarding students is located next to our Pakenham Campus in a safe and peaceful setting. The residence is staffed 24 hours a day by qualified and experienced supervisors and mentors. Students are accommodated in rooms with individual study spaces, with all meals provided and a range of weekend activities offered. Position details: Multiple casual shifts available, commencing April 2026 Overnight stays in the boarding house are required when you work an evening shift Meal provided during your shift Casual hourly rates commencing from $47.18 - penalty rates apply to weekends & evening shifts and overnight stays attract an additional on call allowance Ideal for those working or studying as shifts are compatible with daytime commitments Flexible roster with negotiable shift times and allocations Typical Roster: The typical roster includes, but is not limited to, the following hours: Monday – Thursday: 3:00pm – 10:30pm, remaining overnight in on-site accommodation, with morning duties commencing at 6:45am and concluding at 8:45am the following day. Friday Night: 3:00pm – 10:30pm, remaining overnight in on-site accommodation, with morning duties commencing at 6:45am and concluding at 9:45am the following day. Saturday Night: 4:00pm – 10:30pm, remaining overnight in on-site accommodation, with morning duties commencing at 6:45am and concluding at 9:45am the following day. Sunday Night: 4:00pm – 10:30pm, remaining overnight in on-site accommodation, with morning duties commencing at 6:45am and concluding at 8:45am the following day. Saturday and Sunday Day Shifts: 9:30am – 4:30pm. We work on a flexible roster and are willing to negotiate shift times and allocations with the successful candidate(s).
