A structured career pathway into HSE within the construction industry - Full support (financial study time) to complete the Certificate IV WHS - Mentoring from experienced HSE professionals - Exposure to real site operations, systems and decision‑making - A positive, people‑focused team environment Description Key Responsibilities Site Safety Support - Assist with running site Inductions and onboarding of workers and Plant - Assist with daily safety inspections, hazard identification and risk assessments. - Observe and learn how to monitor safe work practices across construction activities. - Support toolbox talks, pre‑start meetings and site safety briefings. Compliance & Reporting - Help maintain and update HSE documentation, safety registers and training records. - Assist with incident reporting, investigation support and corrective action follow‑up. - Learn to use safety management systems and digital reporting tools. Training & Development - Work towards completing the Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety, with practical on‑the‑job application. - Attend internal training, coaching sessions and site inductions. - Develop knowledge of relevant legislation, codes of practice and construction industry standards. Environmental Responsibilities - Support environmental checks such as waste management, erosion control and spill response. - Learn how environmental requirements are managed on a construction site. Safety Culture & Engagement - Promote positive safety behaviours and support HSE initiatives and campaigns. - Build strong relationships across the site team, subcontractors and visitors.
