Description Working in a full-time capacity, the Grounds Support role is responsible for providing a pleasant outdoor environment by ensuring that the grounds of the historic homestead, Vineyard, Winery and other key locations are attractive, orderly and healthy. Duties include: maintaining lawns including mowing, edging and weeding garden maintenance including: Planting and tending to trees/vines /hedges/rose bushes and plants, inspecting, pruning/trimming, fertilising and watering Weeding garden beds Removing dead or unwanted plants assisting with the fertigation and irrigation of all landscaped areas pest and disease control minor maintenance upkeep of gardening equipment Skills And Experiences Desired Skills and Experience The successful candidate will have the following attributes: Previous experience in a similar gardening or landscaping role. Knowledge of horticulture, plant care, and landscaping techniques Experience working with various tools and gardening equipment. Good physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour tasks Attention to detail and a keen eye for maintaining high standards Current, valid driver’s license and own vehicle Previous experience with pest control.
