We are representing a leading force in the decentralized exchange (DEX) space, specifically operating within the high-performance Solana ecosystem. Core Responsibilities Direct the execution of protocol and backend engineering teams, setting the pace for delivery and the bar for technical excellence. Architect and implement mission-critical trading infrastructure using Rust, focusing on extreme performance and reliability. Lead the development of core exchange primitives, including margin systems, liquidation mechanisms, and advanced liquidity models. Audit critical code paths to minimize latency, maximize execution quality, and improve the overall market maker experience. Foster a culture of rigorous engineering through deep code reviews, architectural guidance, and hands-on mentorship. Requirement: Expert in Rust and have a proven track record of shipping high-performance, production-grade systems. Deep understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, and performance tuning for high-throughput environments. Strong familiarity with order book mechanics, perpetual futures, or derivatives market structure. Experience building matching engines, risk management systems, or liquidation engines is highly preferred. Experience with Solana (or similar high-performance chains) and a solid grasp of on-chain execution models and their inherent constraints.
