Locum Respiratory / Sleep Physician Toowoomba Hospital | Queensland 23 March – 26 June 2026 An excellent long-term locum opportunity is available for a Respiratory / Sleep Physician to join the team at Toowoomba Hospital within Darling Downs Hospital and Health Service. This role offers the opportunity to work within a supportive respiratory unit while enjoying the lifestyle benefits of one of Queensland’s largest regional cities. Dates Start: Monday 23 March 2026 – 08:00 Finish: Friday 26 June 2026 – 16:30 Remuneration Daily rate up to $2,303.70 per day. Additional benefits include: Accommodation provided Return economy travel provided Private vehicle mileage reimbursed at $0.88/km if driving The Role The successful candidate will contribute to the Respiratory and Sleep Medicine service, including: Mixed respiratory outpatient clinics Ward service including supervision of non-invasive ventilation (NIV) Consultation service Pleural procedures Bronchoscopy (desirable but not essential) You will be supported by a team including: 2 Registrars 1 Resident Medical Officer Roster Monday – Friday 08:00 – 16:30 On-call duties may be required and will be confirmed with the successful candidate.
