Our organisation provides many services and programs, including soup vans, education programs, home visitation programs and VincentCare Victoria (VCV), which assist some of Victoria’s most vulnerable communities, such as people experiencing homelessness, the housing crisis and family violence, and the elderly. Little bit about the role The Business Analyst is responsibility for supporting & leading work for the effective implementation of a new Incident and Risk Management System. This role will be accountable for: Facilitating workshops to identify & document business requirements Document and identify opportunities to optimize and streamline business processes. Consult with impacted stakeholders to drive business decisions to complete system configuration specification documents and work with vendors to ensure that the solution meets the business needs. Create a requirements traceability matrix and identify test scenarios, supporting with the execution of testing Assist in go-live readiness and change activities to support successful adoption of new risk and incident management system About you You are a detail-oriented Business Analyst with experience translating business needs into clear requirements and practical system solutions. You’re confident mapping processes, facilitating workshops and working with stakeholders to identify improvements and support project delivery. You bring strong analytical and communication skills, with experience in system testing, requirements documentation and working collaboratively with project teams and vendors. Proactive and adaptable, you’re comfortable working in a dynamic environment and contributing to continuous improvement. Any experience implementing Governance, Risk and Incident management systems will be viewed favourably. Your responsibilities You will analyse and document business processes, develop business and functional requirements, and support system configuration to ensure solutions meet organisational needs. You will also coordinate and conduct system testing, assist in defect prioritisation, inform design decisions and complete retesting, maintaining requirements traceability. Working closely with project teams and stakeholders, you will support project delivery, facilitate workshops, gather insights and identify opportunities to improve processes and systems across the organisation.
