Opening soon, Brabham Tavern will be a brand-new, purpose-built community pub designed from the ground up to become the social hub of Brabham. With a modern bistro, sports bar, epic beer garden and large-scale kids play area, this venue is set to become the go-to destination for families, locals and sports fans alike. We’re now searching for a Venue Manager to lead this exciting opening and establish Brabham Tavern as one of Perth’s best local pubs. This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a greenfield venue launch, build your team from day one and shape the culture of a venue designed for the community. About the Venue Brabham Tavern will feature: • A spacious modern bistro serving classic pub favourites and share plates • A relaxed sports bar with TAB and big screens for live sport • A large outdoor beer garden designed for social gatherings • An epic kids playground making it a destination for local families • Regular programming including trivia nights, live music, sports events and family entertainment The venue will be designed for everything from midweek family dinners to long weekend sessions. The Role As Venue Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, performance and success of the venue. You will: • Lead the opening and launch of the venue • Recruit, train and develop a high-performing team • Drive exceptional customer experiences across bistro, sports bar and beer garden • Deliver strong financial performance through labour, stock and cost control • Build strong relationships with the local community • Lead the venue’s events and programming calendar including sports, trivia and family activations • Ensure compliance with gaming, liquor and safety regulations • Create a culture where team members thrive and guests feel at home About You We’re looking for a leader who understands what makes a great local pub. You will bring: • Proven experience as a Venue Manager or Senior Hospitality Manager • Strong operational leadership across high-volume hospitality venues • Experience building and leading large teams • Solid financial and commercial acumen • A passion for community-driven venues and family-friendly environments • Experience with TAB operations (highly regarded) • Current Approved Manager licence (or ability to obtain) Most importantly, you are a hands-on leader who loves pubs and understands the role they play in local communities.
