This is a Process Manager role with Cement Australia based in Gladstone Central, QLD, AU Cement Australia Role Seniority - mid level, senior More about the Process Manager role at Cement Australia We have an opportunity for a Process Manager to lead and champion process technology excellence for our Gladstone operations. You’ll have ownership over the technical cement manufacturing process from raw material to finished cement, clinker and lime product quality. We are looking for you to identify opportunities, drive change and have a true impact on process stability and productivity in our business. You will report to the Operations Manager (Plant Manager) and be a part of the senior leadership team for the site. Your Opportunity Through technical and people leadership, your goal as Process Manager will be to achieve long-term process stability and rate optimisation across each of the mining, raw material processing, clinker kiln, lime and cement milling unit processes. To do this, some of your key responsibilities will be to: Lead and manage your team to safely achieve plant process performance goals Manage the Quality Assurance and product quality control functions, including the testing laboratory Design, deploy and manage the process technology strategy Lead process audits and reviews to identify continuous process improvement opportunities Work with the Production Manager to provide, monitor and analyse process standards and performance, providing technical support and guidance to the Production team Manage multiple projects simultaneously, evaluating technical and project risks and provide engineering guidance throughout implementation Contribute to the development, execution and maintenance of the Plant Master Plan and Operating KPIs Manage successful AFR introduction and associated processes Promote a safe / quality production and breakthrough performance mindset What You’ll Bring Subject matter expertise in cement kiln process technology, with significant technical expertise within the cement manufacturing industry Bachelor’s degree in Process or Chemical Engineering, or related degree Effective people leadership, communication and influencing skills and experience Demonstrated continuous and process improvement knowledge Experience implementing kiln alternative fuels Well-developed forward planning, analytical and strategic thinking skills Why Join Cement Australia?
