To help us achieve this we are seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking development assessment, building certification, plumbing regulation and associated activities for Council. To succeed in this role, you will have relevant recent experience in working within building certification and development assessment. A minimum registration level with NSW Building Commission - Building Surveyor Restricted (Class 1 and 10) is required. Strong working knowledge of the relevant legislation as well as proven stakeholder engagement and excellent communication skills - both verbal and written is essential. On a Typical Day This Role Will Assessment of Construction Certificates, Complying Development Certificates, Development Applications and plumbing and drainage applications. Respond to general enquires. Undertaking of critical stage building inspections. Working from branch offices from time to time.
