Join the incredible Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH)! There are permanent and temporary positions available. Our ICU is configured into four specialty pods, offering care across a wide range of complex clinical areas including complex cardiac care, neurosurgery, burns, acute spinal cord injuries, haematology and complex general surgery. Royal North Shore is an ECMO service and an accredited trauma centre. The integration of these specialised pods within one unit is a distinctive feature not commonly found in other ICUs across Australia. This model enables nurses to not only deepen their expertise within a chosen specialty but also explore and develop skills across different clinical areas. You will have opportunities to work across all specialties with the ongoing guidance and support of our clinical nurse specialists, clinical nurse consultants, nurse practitioners and educators.
