About The Opportunity We’re seeking a Senior Project Manager to deliver major Unitywater water and wastewater infrastructure projects as part of the $2B Build Better Together (BBT) Program. This long‑term program is accelerating the upgrade and expansion of critical assets across the Sunshine Coast. In this role, you’ll guide projects from early stages through to construction, commissioning and handover. You’ll oversee the delivery of complex assets such as sewage treatment plants, pump stations, rising mains and network upgrades, ensuring safe, efficient and high‑quality outcomes. You’ll lead multidisciplinary teams, shape project strategy and drive strong performance across safety, quality, program, commercial delivery and stakeholder engagement. This opportunity suits a technically strong, solutions‑focused leader who thrives in collaborative delivery environments and enjoys improving how essential water infrastructure is planned and built. What You’ll Bring To The Team Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (CPEng/RPEQ ideal). Strong experience delivering water and wastewater projects, including STPs, pump stations, rising mains and complex brownfield works. Confident interpreting designs and guiding practical, efficient construction methodologies. Proven ability to lead projects from design through construction, commissioning and handover. Strong track record in safety, quality, program and commercial performance. Skilled in leading multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors in a collaborative, high‑performance environment. Proactive in identifying risks and developing practical, cost‑effective solutions. Focused on innovation and continuous improvement across delivery, programming and digital engineering. Experience in collaborative delivery models (alliances, ECI, D&C) valued. Excellent communicator with strong stakeholder management skills, including within live operational water/wastewater facilities.
