About The Opportunity We are looking for a Research Governance Officer to join our team within the Murrumbidgee Local Health District. As the Research Governance Officer, you will coordinate key governance functions while maintaining essential partnerships and ensuring compliance with local, state and national policies. You will manage research records and contribute to the ongoing development of MLHD research governance processes. To find out more about the position, please review the Position Description. About You Our ideal candidate will demonstrate: Relevant health-related tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience and knowledge of research governance, ethics processes and relevant legislation. Knowledge and understanding of the Human Research Ethics Committee. Proficiency with REGIS or willingness to learn, and proficiency with various PC based software including advanced level skills in the Microsoft Office Suite. Strong communication skills to guide researchers and review site authorisation applications. Evidence of a current Class C drivers licence and willingness to travel across MLHD as required.
