The residents are closely supported by a comprehensive multidisciplinary team of nurses, primary care physicians, immunologists, neurologists, psychiatrists, and a Diversional and Occupational Therapist. The plan of care is to assist with the management of BPSD, mental health and care of the older person with HIV. The Enrolled Nurse works under the guidance of Australian Nursing and Midwifery Council National Competency Standards for the Enrolled Nurse in collaboration with Registered Nurses, multidisciplinary team and others to provide safe, compassionate, person centred care . The Enrolled Nurse is responsible at all times for his/her actions and is accountable for delegated nursing care.
