Position Summary We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Enrolled Nurse to join our healthcare team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will provide nursing care to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, ensuring high standards of clinical practice, patient safety, and compassionate care across a variety of healthcare settings. This role requires a motivated professional who can work independently, manage patient care efficiently, and contribute to a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment. Key Responsibilities ● Provide direct nursing care to patients in hospitals, aged care facilities, and community health settings under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. ● Administer medications and treatments in accordance with professional standards, scope of practice, and regulatory requirements. ● Monitor patient health status , including vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment, and promptly report changes to supervising staff. ● Assist with patient hygiene, mobility, nutrition, and comfort needs , ensuring dignity and respect at all times. ● Support Registered Nurses and other healthcare professionals in implementing care plans and clinical procedures. ● Prepare, maintain, and update accurate patient records , including documentation of care provided, observations, and outcomes. ● Conduct routine clinical tasks such as wound care, specimen collection, and basic diagnostic procedures. ● Educate patients and families on health maintenance, recovery, and ongoing care requirements. ● Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards in all aspects of patient care. ● Participate in multidisciplinary team discussions to support holistic patient care and service delivery. ● Maintain professional development through ongoing training, adherence to nursing standards, and participation in quality improvement initiatives. ● Assist in emergency situations , providing first-line support until further medical Requirements ● Diploma of Nursing (HLT54121 or equivalent recognised qualification). ● Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) as an Enrolled Nurse. ● Minimum 1–2 years of relevant clinical experience in hospital, aged care, or community health settings. ● Strong knowledge of nursing practices, patient care procedures, and infection control standards. ● Experience administering medications safely within scope of practice and under supervision of a Registered Nurse. ● Solid understanding of Australian healthcare regulations and patient safety standards.
