Kasundi Indian Restaurant is seeking a dedicated and experienced Chef to join our fast-paced kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial cookery and a proven ability to maintain high standards of food quality and safety during busy service hours. Key Responsibilities: Manage and coordinate daily kitchen prep, mise en place, and workflow during peak hours. Prepare and plate menu items, ensuring strict consistency and excellent presentation. Operate and manage the grill section during high-volume services. Ensure accuracy in cooking temperatures and strict adherence to portion control standards. Maintain rigorous food safety and hygiene compliance across all kitchen operations. Oversee stock rotation and effectively manage waste control. Requirements & Qualifications: Atleast 2 years of professional experience across restaurant and high-volume kitchen operations. Formal trade qualifications, including a Diploma of Hospitality (Commercial Cookery), Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery, or Certificate III in Commercial Cookery. Demonstrated experience in grill preparation and breakfast service. Strong team collaboration skills with the ability to support and work alongside other kitchen staff. Fluency in English, Punjabi, and Hindi is required to effectively communicate with our diverse culinary team.
