Key Responsibilities: As the Technical Service Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting both the operations and client management aspects of the business. Your duties will include: Scheduling Assistance: Help with the scheduling of jobs and ensure timely completion. Technical Support: Provide support to plumbers and clients when needed, offering expert advice and solutions. Parts Ordering: Handle parts ordering for preventative maintenance (PM) jobs at the beginning of each month, and for other jobs as required. Parts Receiving: Oversee the receiving and management of parts for jobs. Job Status Updates: Regularly update job statuses and refer them for scheduling. Warehouse Management: Maintain an organised and efficient warehouse, ensuring parts are easily accessible. Job Review: Review job statuses on a weekly basis and take necessary action. Minor Quotes: Complete minor quotes for internal review. Parts Sourcing: Source and price parts as needed for jobs. The ideal candidate: To succeed in this role, you should have: A commercial plumbing background and a strong technical background. Excellent organisational and time-management skills. Strong communication skills, both with clients and internal teams. Previous experience with parts ordering and job scheduling. An ability to review and manage multiple jobs simultaneously. Computer literacy and proficiency in office-based software Benefits of the role: Salary Package: $120,000 - $150,000, depending on experience.
