The Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales growth and developing new business opportunities for a leading supplier of CNC machinery and woodworking equipment. The role focuses on building strong customer relationships, identifying opportunities within the woodworking and manufacturing sectors, and providing technical sales support to ensure customers receive the right machinery solutions for their operations. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage new and existing customer relationships across the assigned sales territory. Identify new sales opportunities within the woodworking, cabinetry, joinery, and manufacturing sectors. Promote and sell CNC machinery and equipment solutions. Conduct product demonstrations and present technical solutions tailored to customer requirements. Manage the full sales cycle including prospecting, quoting, negotiation, and closing deals. Maintain accurate records of sales activity, opportunities, and customer interactions within CRM systems. Work closely with technical and service teams to ensure successful equipment installation and customer satisfaction. Attend industry trade shows, customer sites, and networking events to promote products and services. Provide market feedback and insights to support sales strategy and product development. Achieve and exceed sales targets while maintaining high levels of customer service. Candidate Requirements Minimum 5 years of sales experience, ideally within industrial equipment, machinery, or technical product sales. Strong business development and relationship management skills. Background or experience in woodworking, cabinetry, joinery, or industrial machinery highly desirable. Ability to understand technical products and translate features into customer benefits. Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a sales territory. Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems. Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
