We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Fleet & Infrastructure Planner to join our Wilpinjong mine site. Our Wilpinjong Mine is an open‑cut coal mining operation located in the western coalfields of New South Wales, approximately 40–50 kilometres northeast of Mudgee, near the village of Wollar. Wilpinjong produces high‑quality thermal coal for both domestic and export energy markets and is one of Peabody’s most productive and lowest‑cost operations. About the role: Ensuring maintenance optimisation programs are advanced and implemented to ensure equipment is maintained to the highest Safety and Assurance requirements Working with and leading the equipment planners across the relevant disciplines to ensure timely and accurate panning and forecasting techniques are utilised to allow for efficiency in lead times and effectiveness in labour allocation requirements Prioritisation of critical path planning activities within a harmonised planning process across the assets Optimization of the planning forecasts to allow for accurate financial cost planning for maintenance activities based on historical actuals, plant lifecycle maintenance and reliability indicators and future needs. Working with the Maintenance Execution Teams to develop and maintain plans that support the Maintenance function to meet the needs of the business Developing and maintaining relationships with our internal and external stakeholders Ensuring compliance with relevant statutory, legislative, WH&S standards and site policies and procedures Development a high performing planning and scheduling team About you: Mechanical Trade or Engineering qualification coupled with lead or senior planning experience, leading a team of 4-6 2 years proven experience in enhancing and optimising maintenance planning programs 6 Years experience as a HME (Heavy Mobile Equipment) or Plant & Infrastructure Maintenance Planner, this could include Capex and Opex project planning and execution Strong working knowledge of SAP, maintenance planning and scheduling principles and procedures Strong interpersonal and communication skills You will also have demonstrated experience in safety management systems and processes Experience with Microsoft Project is desirable The lifestyle This position is offered on a Monday to Friday roster and can allow for a residential lifestyle in nearby Mudgee district.
