Key Responsibilities • Prepare and present a diverse range of high-quality dishes with creativity, consistency, and attention to detail. • Collaborate with the kitchen team to create seasonal menus, new dishes, and enticing daily specials. • Assist with menu planning, incorporating fresh, seasonal ingredients while maintaining cost-effective operations. • Uphold exceptional standards in taste, portion control, and plate presentation for all services. • Mentor and guide junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive team culture. • Manage kitchen inventory, assist with ordering, and support effective waste-reduction strategies. • Ensure strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards, keeping the kitchen organized and compliant. • Support catering, functions, and special events to enhance the overall guest experience. Qualifications and Experience • Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent). • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Chef in a fast-paced kitchen environment. • Strong knowledge of contemporary cooking techniques, preparation methods, and creative menu development. • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining outstanding quality and consistency. • Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills, with a genuine passion for hospitality.
