The role Our People and Culture Directorate leads the development and delivery of people-related services and initiatives, driving enhancements to organisational culture and employee wellbeing. Working in partnership with leaders and business areas, as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner, you will support the delivery of high-quality, strategic people and culture solutions that build organisational capability and enable performance. Providing expert advice and support across workforce planning, culture, leadership capability, performance and organisational change, you will support leaders to anticipate workforce risks, strengthen culture, and build sustainable capability aligned to departmental objectives. You will also build and sustain trusted and strategic relationships, collaborate across people and culture teams, and maintain contemporary knowledge of people and culture trends, innovation, workforce data insights and legislative changes. Please note that this role has a low to medium risk of exposure to information that is sensitive, confronting, and potentially disturbing in nature. This may include interacting with affected, distressed, and/or aggressive people and experiencing vicarious or secondary trauma due to repeated exposure to other people's trauma. Consideration of this, along with individual coping strategies (to supplement support strategies provided by the department), is required.
