About the role and where you will be working: We are currently seeking a part time Maintenance Officer to join our expanding organisation. As our Maintenance Officer we’ll be asking you to help ensure the safety and upkeep of Faulkner Village, Cloverdale. This position is employed by The city of Belmont . This is a permanent part-time position We'll also be asking you to: Action maintenance requests and plan for required works Carry out maintenance work in a timely and tradesperson manner, there is a variety of work across various classes of buildings which can include: Patching and painting Door and window repairs Testing and tagging (we will train you) Condition audits of buildings and facilities Hard landscaping maintenance (no gardening) General "handy" tasks Strong communication skills being able to speak with a variety of people Having a passion for a safe working environment You are someone who has experience in maintenance, handyman or trade works and repairs.
